Video parts are an integral part of our two wheel journey, a creative process which allows us to show case our passion in it’s truest form, a composition of our skills be it technical or gnarly put together to tell a short story of a time spent discovering our potential on a bike.
What was meant to be a side project to keep the crew moving during these weird times of restrictions, ended up materialising into something bigger than intended. We initially set out to stack a few clips together for a “quick” 5minute video, the guys wanted to spend more time filming, documenting each other each session, in order to get better at filming and to give each other the excuse to push themselves that little bit more. Even though we set out to make a quick video deep down we where hungry for something more!
BEHIND THE SCENES
Sessions usually took place at the crack of dawn on a Sunday to avoid the weekend traffic, with copious amounts of caffeine as our fuel and the skatepark as our canvas the crew proceeded to lay down hammer after hammer.

DAILIN ZAMMIT
These two where on a mission, countless hours thinking up of long complicated lines with tricks that they personally had never done and then proceeded to translate what was in their mind onto their bike.

Ging had been trying this line over multiple filming missions as well as regular sessions, getting closer and closer every time. Not one to take no for an answer he proceeded to challenge gravity until the loop was complete. He did this twice in this session, not convinced with how the first one looked.
“Subway has a pretty special place in our hearts as we learnt most of our tricks riding there! So much blood, sweat, time, and energy went into this video. The countless battles trying to land tricks we didn’t know wether we were going to land them or not! Our imagination was running wild with possibilities and the result is this video.”

Fun Fact
On average, when it came to filming their hardest possible tricks or lines, Ging & Aaron would attempt a line at least 50 times, spanning over hours. On some occasions more than 1 session was needed.
THE CREW
VOLUME 2
Now that the dust has settled and our expectations have been exceeded, we have already begun planning volume 2. It is easy to feel unmotivated to ride the same spot over and over, but we used this time to look at our local skatepark differently and the results speak for them selves. Personal boundaries broken, new tricks landed and most importantly memories made. Memories that will last a life time and hopefully inspire future riders to come.
